When you’re on the hunt for cute size 12+ women’s sandals it can be difficult. They just don’t seem to make a lot of options past a women’s 11! When you get all the way up to a size 12, the selection seriously dwindles…

The good news is, this list has been made fresh for 2021 and provides options for all the women out there who are struggling to find shoes past a women’s 11.

One thing I would like to point out is that the majority of these options stop at a women’s 12.

KNOW WHERE TO SHOP

Knowing where to find sandals that are actually a women’s size 12+ is half the battle. After a women’s size 10 or 11, the vast majority of companies simply stop making shoes exclusively for women.

I’ve dug through a lot of online retailers and selected the best places to check. These are not the only websites that sell shoes in larger sizes, but I feel they have the most selection and best variety of sizes for women.

Get familiar with brands

In addition to finding places to shop, knowing which brands sell your size in sandals is a major help.

Sometimes the search tools within those sites can be a little messed up, so if you’re able to search by a specific brand, more options can pop up that may not have otherwise.

I definitely discovered more options searching by specific brand than just size alone. So try it!

It also helps if you need a specific width size, because then you can easily narrow down options to brands that carry your size and width.

Another reason knowing brands is helpful is because you can always check the manufacturer directly, vs. a website like Zappos or DSW. Often times they’ll have greater availability of sizes and stock.

I searched through tons of shoe brands and found the best ones that carried the most variety of sandals past a women’s 11.

These are definitely not the only brands, but it’s a great starting point.

If you’re looking for more affordable, cute basic sandals in a women’s 12 DSW has a great selection.

A bit pricier, but these Mephisto Helen shoes are extremely highly rated at Zappos, with over 2,000 positive reviews.

According to the manufacturer, this particular style runs a full size small so you’ll probably want to order them in a size 13 (which they make as well!)

They also make this shoe in several different colors, but because they’re so popular they run out of stock quick. You’ll have to check Zappos for current availability.

Oh, and remember Birkenstocks? They’re totally back in style for 2021 and incredibly comfy too. The best part is they make them in extended women’s sizes even above a 12 – some styles all the way to a women’s 15.5.

This particular style is unisex, which means they’re made exactly the same for men and women. These come all the way up to a men’s size 13.5.

These Arizona Essentials Birkenstocks are made all the way up to a women’s size 15.5. They come in many colors too!

Adorable dressy sandals, size 12

Walking Cradles is a great company that makes sandals in a size 12 (and size 13 as well). All their shoes have options for narrow, regular, wide, and extra wide widths.

Wedge sandals, size 12

Clarks makes some really adorable women’s wedge sandals in up to a women’s 12 wide. They currently have a wider selection and more availability directly on their website, but you can find them sold on Zappos for lower prices (they are just harder to find in stock!)

Mephisto is another brand that make sandals up to a size 12 (even 13 in certain styles).

Flip flops size 12 women’s

Clarks Breeze Sea

If you’re on the hunt for comfortable women’s size 12 flip flops, these Clarks Breeze Sea flip flops are rated the best. They have nearly 2,000 mostly positive reviews which is rare to see with shoes on Zappos.

They have arch support and comfortable soles, so unlike other flip flops you can actually wear these without getting sore feet after awhile. They also come in a lot of different fun colors.

If they’re out of stock at Zappos, you can purchase them directly from their official website.

Cute basic flip flops

A great brand to check out for basic (shower-style) flip flops is called Havaianas. They make so many super fun and cute styles!

If you need good support, these are not it. But they’re great for beach days or just slipping on to walk to the mailbox or around the yard.

The brand also makes unisex flip flops up to a men’s 13 (women’s 14.5) with additional colorful styles.

Hiking sandals size 12 for women

Keens

If you’re looking for hiking or walking sandals in a women’s size 12, Keens is a really good brand to check. They have both open and closed toe options, plus some of the styles are even water-friendly.

You can find Keens sandals sold many different places online, including Zappos which offers free returns. However they seem to be easier to find in a size 12 directly on their website, as most of the 12 I found on Zappos were out of stock.

Expand your options

Sometimes, you just have no other option than to check the men’s department. If you wear a size 12 or beyond and you’re needing a very specific style, for example – hiking sandals – they just don’t really make a large variety for women.
